Drying out a building after a flood involves skill and care to protect the fabric of the building as much as possible, and to prevent the secondary effects of flooding.

For example damp can cause mould to grow, and this can be dangerous to health.

Depending upon the nature of the flood water, the fabric and contents of the building may also contain harmful bacteria, or dangerous chemicals.

Specialised building drying, performed by experienced technicians as rapidly as possible after the event is crucial.

We use a wide range of building drying techniques and equipment, including rapid and slow-drying and air-moving techniques in combinations best suited to each environment.

It’s important to balance out the drying rates of different materials, uneven drying can result in structural damage caused by different materials shrinking at different rates.

Our technicians are experienced in a wide range of building drying projects, including:

  • Apartments and houses
  • Office blocks and home offices
  • Hotels
  • Cinemas, theatres and public venues
  • Retail premises
  • Warehouses and storage facilities
  • Factory and industrial premises
  • Schools
